This template uses Server Side Includes (SSI), which allows the background graphics to change, adding visual interest to your website. There are 7 different background tiles--so each day of the week will show a different background. In order to use SSI, you need to keep the name of your documents ending with ".shtml" as to opposed to just "html". For more information about using SSI, visit my tutorial page on the subject.

Terms of Use

Price is a single license fee, meaning you can use one template on as many pages as you wish on one website. If you wish to use these on more than one website, you will need to purchase additional licenses.

Do you have a linkware version of this template?

You can use the graphic-free version of this template as a trial version/linkware, provided you keep a link to http://ann-s-thesia.com/ on each page that the template is used. The version of this template that includes graphics must be paid for. The linkware version of the template looks just like this page, with the PayPal button so you can purchase it if you decided to use it. The advantages of purchasing the template are following:
- You get the html emailed to you in two different versions, one with a separate style sheet, and the other with the style sheet within the html template. This allows you to choose how you want to use them. Inexperienced users may prefer to use the all-in-one version. Any unnecessary code will also be stripped out of the templates for you. I do not strip out any code for the linkware versions.
- You don't have to worry about providing a link back to me.
- You can choose to have your site listed for free on my main page and my supporters page.
- You will be helping keep this site online to provide many more different designs, templates, tutorials and linkware in the future.

I have a business. Can I use this?

If you pay for it, you certainly may. All commercial/business sites must pay for the use of any and all my graphics.

Can I use your templates to design sites for others?

As long as you pay for each design you use per client. I do not allow linkware versions to be used by designers of third party sites. Remember, if you have two clients that want the same design, you will still need to purchase two licenses. Although I do allow you to use these when custom designing for individual clients, I do not allow these to be repackaged or remarketed under your name. I retain all rights to these designs.

What constitutes "one website"?

"One website" is a set of similarly designed and themed webpages that are linked together off of one central "home" or main page, maintained by one person or one organization. For example, I have three domains, Ann-S-Thesia.com, Dingbatcave.com and Eyebalm.com. Each of those are separate from eachother, and Eyebalm.com also has a subsection called "Art Objects" which is visually and thematically different than the main part of Eyebalm. Even though "Art Objects" is on the same domain as the rest of Eyebalm, because of the subject matter and design, they would be counted as two different web sites. So, in essence, those are four different websites.

Do I need to include a link back to you?

If you have paid for the template, you do not owe me a link back, unless you want to give me one. Although I do not require a link back, these designs shall not be represented as being originally created by anyone except me.

Can I alter the code to make it work better?

Yes, you may alter it to adapt to whatever you will be using it for.
